Second trip snowboarding with these guys, this time to the world-famous resort of Val d'Isere, nestled fairly high up in the French Alps.

The journey started off pretty badly for Leon, who was visibly ill even as we set off in the very early hours of Saturday morning... It was a long old journey as well. We eventually arrived in Val and the coach set us down just a short walk from our self-catered accommodation for the week. There was a bit of a faff as we switched rooms to allow the even more unwell looking Leon a bit of privacy. Leon and Yukari took the room with working partition and Vicki and Kathryn spread out on the other side. Gav, Sam and I were in the room virtually opposite.
