We met up at the aiport and flew out to Nice airport for a weekend in a nice villa in a pretty hillside village called, Vence, near Nice. We longed arounnd the pool in the sun, played a bit of football and had half a game of Trivial Pursuit. We watched England beat Equador unconvincingly in a bar in the centre of Vence and went out to a restaurant for dinner in the evening - I had my favorite starter of snails...
