Anna, Vicki, Leon and Yukari came round to my house for a few drinks. We had champagne and beer with some snacks. After Leon and Yukari left Anna, Vicki and I played the cornflake game and I headbutted the floor several times - Nice! Later on we went to the the Old Brewery Tavern where I had earlier purchased tickets for (£15 each). We had more drinks and Anna and I ended up fighting on the dancefloor before she walked out and off home. Vicki and I stayed on for a bit before trotting off home too. i had a few buttond ripped off my shirt in the earlier tussle and my shirt was a bit wet. Anna probably had quite wet clothes as well...

Mum, Dad, Matty, MJ and Nan all came round to the house at around 3pm and I made a champagne cocktail for everyone. I'd been busy all morning preparing Christmas dinner. I made grilled figs on a bed of babay spinach leaves with pine nuts and a honey and balsamic drizzle to start with, followed by an organic free-range bronze turkey served with roast potatoes, carrots, chipolatas wrapped in bacon, parsnips and homemade stuffing. We had an excellent Christmas pudding for dessert served with cream. we then sat around digesting food before trying to play Bullseye, which wouldn't work because we didn't have the remote control. Everyone left later on after dad and mum cleaned up for me.

Went out straight from work into Sandwich for beers, meeting up in the Fleur de Lis. Once most people arrived we went on to the George and Dragon for a meal and then all got in taxis to Canterbury and on to the Brewery Tavern, I think? I believe I met up with Vicki and Anna later on...

Matty and I headed up to White Hart Lane to watch this Uefa Cup Tie.

Today, I had an interview at Nova in Regent Street. I got the train up to London and was almost late for my interview. I found the place okay though and registered at reception and handed over my paperwork (CV, degree certificate and a few other things). A group of about 10 of us all went into a small room and we did various exercises, games and role-play before we were all given interview slots. I went out to a Costa Coffee for a break and to jot down some ideas. I also went to see Annie in Waterstones and arranged to meet her after my interview. I went back and the face-to-face was quite relaxed. I went through a lesson and then that was me finished. I met up with Annie and we went to a pub across the other side of Oxford Street for drinks and snacks. Mark came and joined us also (This is the first time we'd met), but I had to run to Topshop to pick up some boots for Anna. i went back to the pub and then had to make my usual dash for the train back to Canterbury.

A real treat for a winter Sunday afternoon... Anna drove us over to Bridge where we met Emma and Ian for my first visit to Skippers. They serve dinner in sittings and are famous for allowing you to choose two desserts. The starter was buffet style and I think I ate too much. The main course was excellent but I could only manage 3/4 of one pudding and a little bit of another one. Very nice place, though!
