Matty came round to mine to watch the footie tonight. A rubbish first half followed by a better second half and a really good last 20 minutes. Spurs were unlucky not to win in the end although both sides hit the woodwork. Anyway, the rest of my deck lighting is here so I'll have to get on with all that at the weekend. It's torrential rain outside at the moment - nice to here it beating down when you're inside though...

Rain Delays
@ Thursday, 10. May, 2007 – 12:44:10
The wind and the rain over the last few days have put me off doing any work in the garden which is frustrating. I'm desperate to get the whole thing finished now, but still pondering over design issues; do I need a pond? Is it bad to have no grass whatsoever? Shall I
try andbuild a pergola? It's all too much to think about, but I need to make some decisions... I have all of the lighting now so I can start work on that... -
The Straw that Broke the Camel's Back
@ Thursday, 10. May, 2007 – 12:40:52
The Apprentice was brilliant last night! Alan Sugar's boardroom quips seem to get better every week and the levels of bitchiness and backstabbing keep escalating... We're getting down to the nitty-gritty now and I can't see Lohit and Ghazal lasting much longer - I just don't think they're made of the same stuff as the others. Katie unleashed a tirade on poor old Adam last night and he didn't really have much to say in his defence; his inability to determine the nature of a nigella seed really was just the straw that broke the camel's back as I believe he would have gone sooner or later anyway.
