I made a few last-minute additions to the melon helmet and arrived at the Dolphin just after 1 and ordered some lunch. Most people, I hadn't met before, including a couple of Yukari's friends, Iva and Iko (not sure of the spelling though), both from Germany, and also some of Leon's work-mates.
We ended up staying all day having not only lunch but also dinner in there! Several games of Who's Who (like Guess Who) were played and also Jenga, which has got me thinking about buying giant Jenga for the garden. I thought if I get bored of it I can turn the blocks into some sort of garden furniture.
I really like Yukari's summer hat, so I decided to get one myself yesterday! Hope you don't mind, Yukari?! Also, I think Yukari actually makes that melon helmet look cool, whereas it looks ridiculous on everyone else!
Later on, we gathered in the garden underneath the patio heater, which just about made things warm enough - typical Brits, I thought. I tried to muster a bit of support for the Works - Craig mentioned to Farmer that he didn't seem all that enthusiatic about it to which he replied 'Of course I don't, I'm a miserable c**t, aren't I', which had me in fits of laughter, probably because I'd had nearly 10 pints of Guinness.
We eventually left sometime after midnight...
