They forgot all about our khurzi lamb order in the Kashmir! Above is a picture of the space on the table that a leg of lamb should be inhabiting... They asked to us to order off the menu last night and next Friday they would prepare us an extra special Khurzi lamb for free! Brilliant, I have another whole week of looking forward to it.

Gav has ordered a Khurzi lamb from the Kashmir this evening for Leon, Yukari, Vicki and I. This is a dish that requires at least 24 hours advance notice as a whole leg of lamb needs to be marinated and cooked very slowly to develop excellent flavours and tenderness of the meat. We're going to meet in the Cherry Tree between 7 and 7:30 to work up a bit of an appetite and then bunce on over to the Kashmir for our feast at 8:30pm. Really looking forward to it.
I'm looking forward to seeing my garden again and getting the thing finished so I can start cranking up barbeques!
