Just got back from the Dolphin via the Kashmir...

We won the pub quiz tonight, the prize for which is a charity goat, as it is every week. There were a lot of lame questions: 'was the QEII liner named after Queen Elizabeth II?" Anyway we won, so that's cool.

It's going to be soooooo nice waking up in the morning knowing that I don't have to get up for work - I have the day off. Better use it wisely, eh?

Just sent out an invite for my garden-warming party to be held either next weekend or the following weekend. It'll just be a little gathering as I need to put my new deck and barbeque through their paces before my birthday party at the end of July. I still have a few things to do in the garden, but I'm leaving early today, so I should get most of those bits finished tonight. I also need to get some shrubs and plants so I'll have to pop to a nursery and see what they have. If anyone has any plant/shrub recommendations then I'd be glad to hear of them. I'm after things that won't grow too big and don't take a lot of maintenance.
