I was really into the idea of a nice flame-grilled burger last night so as soon as I got home I loaded up my mini berbecue with coals and a few firelighters and got the thing going while I tucked into a cold bottle of beer... the perfect antidote to a long day at work. The barbecue reached peak temperature so I stuck a quarter pounder on there and a big slice of onion, and later toasted a proper sesame seed encrusted burger bun. Once I put it all together with a nice dollop of ketchup it tasted just like a Burger King Whopper! Perfect.
I went out to meet Leon in the Cherry Tree just before 8. Brian joined us as well and we moved on to Casey's until closing and spent an unhealthy amount of time and money on the quiz machine... After closing we meandered onto the High Street and met Yukari who commented on Leon's drunkenness...
