since I last posted anything, but I'm back on now and will be filling in the last three weeks, gradually... In bullet form, this is what I've been up to:

Been to Berlin for a stag weekend

Been to Lounge on the Farm music festival in Canterbury

Attended the Canterbury Beer Festival

Playing WoW

Bike riding in the country

Matty's 30th birthday barbecue in the Old City Bar

Out for dinner to celebrate my 31st birthday

A day at the Xscape Snow Dome in Milton Keynes

So, I've been quite busy actually!

22 of us (!) were out in Berlin for the weekend for James's stag party which proved (predictably) a thoroughly beer-sodden affair... Our hotel was in Charlottenberg but we spent most of our time boozing over in East Berlin around Hackesher Market and Orainian Bergerstrasse - Not sure about my spellings there to be honest! Anyway the city is absolutely magnificent and an excellent choice for a stag party.

Due to my camera being out of battery, this is the only photo I managed to take at Matty' 30th birthday barbecue in the Old City Bar - Hurrumph... Mother has some so I will post them when I get hold of them...

I took Matty and MJ to the Xscape snow dome thing in Milton Keynes for an afternoon of snowboarding... I mucked around on by myself for a couple of hours while they progressed very nicely through tuition stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 in just three hours!

Our first port of call, The Granville weren't serving food so we went a bit further to the Duck Inn at Pett Bottom again...

Half time at the Dolphin quiz and somehow we are in the lead by 5 points...

I was at a bit of a loss for things to do earlier; even Wimbledon was called off due to the rain, so I had a brainwave that would keep me occupied for a good portion of the day - Wall-papering the inside of the airing cupboard. They used to do this in times gone by but not so much these days... Never realised how difficlut it was to hang wallpaper, especially in a hot, confined space cluttered with pipes and stuff!
