I was at a bit of a loss for things to do earlier; even Wimbledon was called off due to the rain, so I had a brainwave that would keep me occupied for a good portion of the day - Wall-papering the inside of the airing cupboard. They used to do this in times gone by but not so much these days... Never realised how difficlut it was to hang wallpaper, especially in a hot, confined space cluttered with pipes and stuff!

To be honest, this was a bit of an experiment really as I'd never wall-papered before, so I thought I'd have a go where it didn't really matter if it was a disaster - Now that it's done, I really like it though!

Ah, a perfect explanation and one that I hadn't even considered.
Excellent thinking :-)

Good job! wallpapering is quite tricky.. especially with pipes etc to avoid.

Thanks! I never realised how difficult it was, especially as the paper refuses to cut when wet... Tsk

What on earth is the point of that? Why would you wallpaper the inside of a cupboard whose door is only open for a maximum of about 20 seconds a day? Who will see it and think "Ooh, that's nice wallpaper".
Or am I missing something?
Tom.
